The Devouring Buds of May
The creation of a Shoggoth is a difficult one. It is likely that their original creators had some technology or understanding that is now lost to time.
Failure is expected from time to time and so experiments were conducted into other uses for the seemingly lifeless protoplasm left behind. This matter does break down and return to the earth, so it was decided that it may make a suitable fertiliser for plants lacking in vital nutrients.
It is not clear whether what we have dubbed "The Devouring Buds of May" is a Shoggoth or some other new form of life entirely. After inspection of the caustic "saliva" and sharpened teeth. It has been decided that we can wait until the creatures natural death to investigate further.
Each piece comes with a urethane resin seedling measuring around 20mm³
Cast in 60A shore polyurethane rubber and 80D polyurethane resin.
Roughly 80x55x35mm
Small parts may be a choking hazard and not suitable for children under 3 years old. Pieces are hand made and there may be subtle colour differences from piece to piece.
