Inscrutable Shoggoths

The Insatiable Shoggoths

The second and last group drop of Shoggoths, all Kitchen themed in some way and although primitive in terms of sculpting, I was so happy that I could incorporate more elements and make the figures look more professional. Hand making those rolling pins took time and preparing the glass bottles was too much of a pain to ever warrant making these again.

Glug

As any person of science or engineering will tell you, a strong, stiff drink will often be the only thing between a failure and a breakthrough. Glug was intended to be a resident bartender that could be stored discreetly behind a far when not needed. It took to its job like a duck to water, quickly mastering elaborate techniques and even the most esoteric of cocktail recipes.

Sadly it took to the job too well and any bar tended by Glug will be drained of all fluids in shortly under half an hour.

Pin

Intended to be trained in general culinary arts, Pin started its life training on the preparation and baking of bread products.

The ever shifting mass was incredibly well suited to kneading and knotting bread and things looked promising. Upon the discovery of the rolling pin, things took a sharp turn downwards. Pin shows a strange fascination with and possibly even pleasure, from rolling itself as thin as possible.

When trying to remove the object from the Shoggoth resulted in the early termination of 3 assistants, it was deemed that the best course of action was to leave it alone and find something else to do.

Primordial Souperbeing AKA Soupy

This subspecies of Shoggoth began as a kitchen aide, preparing and maintaining soups and stews to ensure that the foundry would always have a supply of nourishing sustenance during long nights of hard study and research.

We initially thought the creature to have boiled itself alive before coming to the realisation that the creature had claimed the cauldron as its own.

The Feral Foundry now operates on a strict “sandwich only” policy.

Cast in 80A shore polyurethane rubber and 80D polyurethane resin.

All Proto Shoggoths apart from C have some form of glow in the dark effect.

Roughly 40x50x20mm

Small parts may be a choking hazard and not suitable for children under 3 years old.
